Raleigh, N.C. — Enloe Magnet High School, Sanderson High School and Raleigh Charter High School were locked down Thursday afternoon after threats were phoned in to the schools, police said.
Sanderson High was placed under a code red lockdown, while Enloe High was under a code yellow lockdown, officials said. All exterior door were locked at both schools, and all students were required to remain inside the school buildings.
Raleigh Charter High officials declined to comment.
Raleigh police said they considered the threats to be hoaxes, but officers were dispatched to the schools.
Enloe High canceled all after-school activities, but Wake County Public School System officials said police gave an all-clear at Sanderson High shortly before 3 p.m., so activities continued as normal there.
