Durham police were investigating after a person was wounded during a predawn shooting, authorities said.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Police were investigating after a person was wounded during a predawn shooting in Durham, authorities said.

Rescue workers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Raven Street on a report of gunfire. When they arrived, the found a victim suffering from non-life-threatening wounds.

Police have not yet said what prompted the shooting or if a suspect had been identified.

Authorities said the person was shot by a person known to him.

Anyone with information was asked to call Durham police.
