RALEIGH, N.C. — Police said a person was shot Friday morning in Raleigh.

Authorities received a call about the shooting at 8:15 a.m. at 3417 Middle Branch Rd. Responding officers found a man who had been shot.

The man was transported to WakeMed, but his identity and condition were not released.
