One person was shot in a Holly Springs neighborhood late Monday night.

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — One person was shot in a Holly Springs neighborhood late Monday night.
The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Cross Hill Lane and Burt Street just off W. Holly Springs Road.
Neighbors told WRAL News they heard five gunshots.
According to officials, one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting was not random and there was no threat to the public.
