Person of interest, possible victim sought in Fayetteville shooting

Fayetteville police are asking for help find a person of interest in an August shooting.

Police said Michael Blunt is believed to have information about the crime and is also a victim in the shooting. He has not been charged with any crime.

On Aug. 12, Apondrea Marshall, 30, was shot and killed while pumping gas at a gas station on Gillespie Street.

The owner of the store said at least 15 shots were fired from the road into the parking lot, hitting Marshall, who was standing at a pump.

Police said Marshall died at the scene. They did not say how Blunt is connected to the crime.
