Person of interest in Ga. death might be in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A person of interest in a suspicious death in Smyrna, Ga., might be in Fayetteville, officials said Saturday.

Juan Lazaro, 28, is wanted for questioning in the death of his girlfriend, Elizabeth Bowie, 28, of Smyrna, Ga.

Smyrna Police detectives found Bowie's body in a residence at undisclosed address on Thursday, according officers said in a release Saturday.

Detectives said the cause of Bowie's death is considered suspicious after the Cobb County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy Friday. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was continuing to investigate.

Lazaro was described as a Hispanic man, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a mustache.
