<b>CAMERON, N.C.</b> — One person died when a log truck overturned in Moore County on Wednesday morning.

Firefighters at the scene said the truck overturned around 6 a.m. on N.C. Highway 24-27 near Harnett Road in Cameron.

According to the Cypress Point Fire Department, a pickup truck and a car were also involved in the crash.

The log truck collided with one of the other vehicles, officials said, leaving logs and a diesel spill in the road.

The fire chief said the driver of the log truck and the driver of another car were transported to Moore Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a person in the pickup truck died.

The road was closed for about two hours while crews cleaned up the street.
