<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A person was killed late Tuesday night at a home in Cumberland County.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office was called to a fatal shooting at a home in the 1300 block of Middle Road, northeast of Fayetteville, before 11:45 p.m.

The road was closed during an investigation but opened by 3 a.m.

The person's identity and cause of death were not immediately available. No suspect information was provided.
