Person killed in deputy-involved shooting in Alamance County

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Alamance County deputies responded to a deputy-involved shooting Wednesday night.
According to WXII, deputies say it happened around 11:15 p.m. at a residence near the Alamance and Randolph County line.

According to deputies, three authorities encountered an individual with a shotgun, who fired at least one round. The deputies returned fire and the individual was killed. Authorities have not identified the person killed.
