One person was killed Tuesday morning in a crash, according to Chapel Hill police.



<b>CHAPEL HILL, N.C.</b> — One person was killed Tuesday morning in a crash, according to Chapel Hill police.

The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Fordham Boulevard near the intersection of Old Durham Road and Sage Road.

Two vehicles were involved. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and other people were treated for minor injuries.

Fordham Boulevard was closed between Eastowne Drive and Erwin Road from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

The crash is under investigation. Police did not share additional details.

Darryl Williams' cause of death is listed as a "sudden cardiac arrest in the setting of cocaine intoxication, physical exertion, conducted energy weapon use and physical restraint," the autopsy states.
