HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — North Carolina's newest top-rated Airbnb venue is a treehouse in the middle of the woods.
Located in Hendersonville, N.C., Beacon Treehouse is the perfect hideaway, offering renters both a rustic setting and some modern amenities like an outdoor shower with hot water, a comfy bed and a coffee station.

A stay there is $85 per night.

The venue is being recognized by Airbnb along with dozens of others throughout the country for getting the highest ratings and the most reviews despite being open for less than a year.

'Glamping' at its finest

A 10-foot ladder takes you up to the bedroom, which features a fan for the warmer months and an electric blanket for the colder months.

There is no air conditioning or heat, but there are USB and electrical ports available to charge phones or other devices.

In addition to coffee and mugs, the treehouse comes with bottled water, towels and washcloths for guests. There is also toilet paper for the outdoor toilet.

Lights illuminate the treehouse and bedroom once the sun sets, and guests can enjoy a fire pit with logs but will have to bring their own lighters and food.
