Raleigh, N.C. — Gov. Beverly Perdue on Tuesday appointed Margaret Eagles to a new District Court judgeship in Wake County.
Eagles is an associate at the Larcade & Heiskell law firm in Raleigh. She previously was an assistant attorney general, handling environmental cases. She earned her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and her law degree from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
“Margaret Eagles’ experience as a private practitioner and her work as an assistant attorney general will serve her well on the District Court bench,” Perdue said in a statement.
