A criminal session scheduled Wednesday in District Court in Pembroke has been canceled because the building’s air condition unit could not be repaired in time, officials said.

Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to reach into the upper 90s and possibly into triple digits. The cases will be rescheduled for future dates, court officials said. Affected parties will be notified through the mail.
Criminal sessions planned for Aug. 20 and Aug. 27 should not be affected, officials said Tuesday.
