Pedestrian taken to hospital after being hit by vehicle

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and rushed to the hospital in Fayetteville on Tuesday night.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and rushed to the hospital in Fayetteville on Tuesday night.

Fayetteville police said they were called to a vehicle crash with a pedestrian along Bingham Drive near Worthington Drive around 7:44 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released.

Officials said Bingham Drive was down to two lanes while officers were on scene conducting the crash investigation.
