Pedestrian struck on Glenwood Avenue in Five Points area
A pedestrian was struck early Sunday morning in the Five Points area of Glenwood Avenue.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A pedestrian was struck early Sunday morning in the Five Points area of Glenwood Avenue.
The southbound lanes were closed in front of The Point Restaurant and Bar at 1626 Glenwood Ave.
The pedestrian was in serious condition but was expected to recover, Raleigh police said.
A driver was seen getting a sobriety test from a police officer, but no charges were announced.
