Pedestrian struck, killed by car in Spring Lake
A Spring Lake woman died late Monday after being hit by a car in Cumberland County, police said.

SPRING LAKE, N.C. — A Spring Lake woman died late Monday after being hit by a car in Cumberland County, police said.
The crash occurred at about 10 p.m. along N.C. Highway 210 in Spring Lake.
Sarah Lee Holmes, 67, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she died.
The driver wasn't injured.
No charges have been filed, but the crash remains under investigation, police said.
