Halifax, N.C. — A Roanoke Rapids woman was killed early Saturday on the exit ramp of Interstate 95 in Halifax, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Shortly before 2 a.m., a pickup truck exiting southbound I-95 at mile marker 171 hit Symanthia McWilliams Pierce, 43, killing her.
