Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash, police looking for vehicle involved

Raleigh police were looking for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that killed a pedestrian Friday evening.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were looking for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that killed a pedestrian Friday evening.

Officers said the incident happened at 6:41 p.m. in the 2400 block of Crabtree Boulevard. The woman who was killed had not been identified, pending notification of next of kin.

Investigators said they were looking for a silver/gray Ford Fusion with front-end damage and a possible broken windshield. Anyone with information is asked to contact Raleigh police.
