MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Morrisville police are sorting out the details involving a hit-and-run incident.

Authorities said a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle at around 9 p.m. Wednesday while walking through the Harris Teeter parking lot at the McCrimmon Corners Shopping Center near Davis Drive.

Police said the pedestrian landed on the vehicle, possibly causing damage to the hood or windshield. According to investigators, the driver of the vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.
