Pedestrian Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle

Raleigh, N.C. — A pedestrian was taken to WakeMed with serious but non-life threatening injuries Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle.
The accident happened at about 6 p.m. at Tryon Road and Hammond Street. The pedestrian was crossing the street, but was not in an intersection, according to authorities.
The accident was under investigation.
