Pedestrian hit in Durham
The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to Duke University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — A pedestrian was hit by a car Monday morning in Durham. The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to Duke University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
According to police, the man stepped into the path of a car being driven by Cheri Craun, 36, of Durham, just before 10 a.m. on Holloway Street near Raynor Street. He suffered head injuries.
Craun was treated for minor injuries at the scene. Police said they don't think she was speeding. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
