Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Raleigh

A man walking near a Raleigh intersection was taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash late Monday night, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A man walking near a Raleigh intersection was taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run crash late Monday night, police said.

The man, who was not identified, was walking around 10 p.m. on a dark part of Wilderness Road, according to the Raleigh Police Department. He was hit by a vehicle and then taken to WakeMed.

The man's injuries are not life-threatening.

Authorities did not have a description of the suspect vehicle.
