A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Saturday evening along the 6100 block of Hillsborough St. in Raleigh.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Saturday evening along the 6100 block of Hillsborough St. in Raleigh.

The car was traveling eastbound near Singleton Street and Pine Limb Lane<strong> </strong>when it struck the Rafael Guardado Martinez, police said.

Paramedics transported 43-year-old Martinez to WakeMed for treatment.  He was listed in serious condition Sunday.

The driver of the vehicle was not charged.
