Greensboro, N.C. — A man died Saturday evening after he was struck by two vehicles while crossing Interstate-40 in Greensboro.
Around 11:30 p.m., Donald Melton III, 33, of Kernersville was struck while crossing I-40 W between W. Wendover Avenue and Guilford College Road.
Officials say Melton was initially struck by a tractor trailer. Due to traffic volume, he was struck by an SUV immediately after. Melton was pronounced dead at the scene, officials say.
The investigation is pending, but no charges have been filed as a result of this incident.
