DURHAM, N.C. — After a successful pop-up series, Parker & Otis will be opening a permanent shop at American Tobacco Campus, the venue announced Thursday.

Dubbed Parker Paper Co., the shop will focus on stationary and writing, as well as gifts and grab-and-go sandwiches from its flagship restaurant and shop. The paper shop will also offer craft beer and wine.

"I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to open our shop at American Tobacco,” Parker & Otis owner Jennings Brody said. “What a lovely place to work!”

Parker Paper Co., which will be located in the Diamond View III building on Blackwell Street, isn't the first pop-up retailer to decide to make ATC a permanent home. Boricua Soul enjoyed a pop-up series there before opening its permanent location in fall 2019.

“Parker Paper Co. and Boricua Soul are great examples of the trajectory we see American Tobacco taking in 2020 and beyond,” says Adam Klein, strategist for Capitol Broadcasting Company, which owns ATC. “I've had the privilege of knowing Jennings for a while and she's one the best retailers in the Southeast. We couldn't be more excited to have her sharing her knack for amazing stationary, gifts and food with ATC and beyond.'”

Parker Paper Co. is expected to open in March.
