Park and ride for $5 to ease your trip to the State Fair

GoRaleigh is providing $5 round-trip rides to the North Carolina State Fair. You can get dropped off right at Gate 1. Rides are provided from three locations plus limited service along the Hillsborough Street route.

All shuttle passengers will be dropped off and picked up at Gate 1 at the fairgrounds.

The shuttle’s round trip fare is $5, cash only. One-way fare is $4. Children under 40 inches tall ride free with a paying adult. A reduced roundtrip fare of $2.50 will be available for people 65 and over and for passengers with disabilities.

Park and ride from:
NORTH RALEIGH - Triangle Town Center, 5959 Triangle Town Blvd, Raleigh (near Dillard’s parking lot)

8:30am - midnight, daily during the fair. Shuttle runs non-stop every 30 minutes.

CARY - Cary Towne Center – 1105 Walnut St, Cary (follow directional signs for parking)

8:30am - midnight, daily during the fair. Shuttle runs non-stop every 30 minutes.

GARNER (limited service) - White Oak Crossing, 1205 Timber Drive East (near movie theater).

8:30 a.m. to midnight, Thursdays through Sundays ONLY. Shuttle runs non-stop every 30 minutes.

HILLSBOROUGH STREET ROUTE - This route departs downtown Raleigh at the NCDOT building on Wilmington Street on a limited schedule.
1 p.m. - midnight, Monday through Friday. Shuttle service every hour.
8 a.m. - midnight, Saturday and Sunday. Shuttle service every hour.

There is a special Monday through Friday shuttle at 6:30 a.m. & 7:30 a.m. from downtown for State Fair workers.
