CREEDMOOR, N.C. — A Creedmoor couple has been charged with murder after the body of a Holly Springs man was found inside a storage shed on their property, authorities said Wednesday.

Jacobi Paylor Walker, 24, and Shauna Marie Parker, 31, both of 1642 Gate 2 Road, were being held without bond in the Granville County jail on charges of first-degree murder.

Thomas Joseph Fort Jr., 27, was found dead inside a storage building behind the home on Tuesday morning, Sheriff Brindell Wilkins Jr. said. Investigators said they believe he was killed early Sunday and died of a blow to his head.

Wilkins said the death resulted from a love triangle.

Fort's father went to the Creedmoor property to check on his missing son and found the body, Wilkins said.
