Pair charged after gun found at Southeast Raleigh High

Two 16-year-olds were charged Thursday after authorities found a pellet gun at Southeast Raleigh High School.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two 16-year-olds were charged Thursday after authorities found a pellet gun at Southeast Raleigh High School.

La'Avante Trevon Biggs, of 605 E. Third St. in Wendell, was charged with bringing a gun on education property and resisting a public officer. His bond was set at $5,000.

Jawan Nasheem Wallace, of 529 Continental Way in Raleigh, was charged with two counts of resisting a public officer. A warrant states that he tried to leave the area during the investigation. His bond was set at $2,500.
