Overturned Gas Tanker Closes Highway

Selma, N.C. — An overturned gasoline tanker forced the closure of N.C. Highway 96 north of Selma Friday afternoon.

The tanker was believed to be empty, but foam trucks were called to the scene as a precaution, authorities said.
