All lanes of Interstate 440 have been re-opened and heavy congestion has cleared after a multi-vehicle wreck on the Outer Beltline in Raleigh Friday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — All lanes of Interstate 440 have been re-opened and heavy congestion has cleared after a multi-vehicle wreck on the Outer Beltline in Raleigh Friday morning.
Police said the wreck happened near the Capital Boulevard exit shortly before 8 a.m. More details about the wreck haven't been released.
Three left lanes of the Outer Beltline were closed for about an hour, and traffic delays formed from the Wake Forest Road exit back to the U.S. Highway 64 interchange.
