WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Free family movie nights are back at Joyner Park in Wake Forest. The town recently announced two planned dates. Here's the schedule:
  • Saturday, July 24. The featured movie will be "Aladdin."
  • Saturday, Aug. 7. The featured movie will be "Black Panther."

Both movies will be screened on a 26-foot inflatable movie screen in the Joyner Park Amphitheatre.

Showtimes start at 8:30 p.m. Moviegoers are encouraged to get there early because space is limited.

Some rules:

  • Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, cooler, blanket and/or chairs, but alcohol, smoking and unleashed pets are prohibited.
  • No food vendors will be on site selling snacks and refreshments.

If it rains, the move night may be moved inside the community center.
