Oscar Mayer Wienermobile stopping in North Hills, Wake Forest

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is returning to the Triangle this weekend.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is returning to the Triangle this weekend.

The 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels will stop in Raleigh, Wake Forest and Henderson beginning Thursday to hand out stickers, coupons and the famous wienie whistle. Families also love to take photos with the Wienermobile.

The hot dog will stop at the following locations:

Thursday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Boys and Girls Club locations in Raleigh

Friday, Nov. 13, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

North Hills, 4531 The Circle at North Hills St.

Friday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Raleigh Road Outdoor Theatre, 3336 Raleigh Road, Henderson

Saturday, Nov. 14, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Bluebirds Farm, 1001 Horse Creek Road, Raleigh
Sunday, Nov. 15, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Lumpy's Ice Cream, 306 Wait Avenue, Wake Forest

The Wienermobile was invented in 1936 by Oscar Mayer’s nephew, Carl Mayer to bring some happiness to Americans during the Great Depression.

Since then, the hot dog driven by recent college graduates has traveled across the country to bring smiles to families. You can even rent the Wienermobile for private events.
