RALEIGH, N.C. — The Original Selfie Museum is opening a location in Raleigh this spring.

This photography studio bills itself as the "most Instagram-able place in the nation." It features brightly colored rooms with art installations, props and studio lighting so you can get the best shots.

The studio is hoping to open at 208 Fayetteville St. in downtown as early as mid-April, organizers said Thursday.

The Original Selfie Museum opened its first location in 2019 in Denver and its second location the following year in Seattle. In 2021, locations opened in Miami, Atlanta and Texas.

The studio will be selling tickets for timed entry. During that time, you can go in and take photos with your phone or a DSLR camera.

It is a family-friendly place and you can even take photos with your small dog (up to 25 pounds or 25 inches tall when standing), according to the official website. There are pet friendly days on the first Monday of each month and one dog is allowed per adult.

There are other selfie studios already operating in the area.

You Love Selfies Museum is located inside Crabtree Valley Mall, while the Berry Bomb Selfie Spot is in Triangle Town Center Mall. Selfie Symposium is located in Durham across from Southpoint Mall at 6905 Fayetteville Road.
