CARRBORO, N.C. — Orange Water and Sewer Authority customers will see a bump in their bill starting next month. Effective Oct. 1, OWASA will raise rates by 17 percent, the agency said Monday.
While individual bills depend on individual water use, OWASA estimated that the average customer would see a $10 increase per month.
OWASA supplies water to Chapel Hill, Carrboro and nearby areas.
