RALEIGH, N.C. — After being robbed by potential buyers, an online seller chased down the people responsible for the robbery and fired multiple shots.

Raleigh police said a man and woman arranged to meet a person in the parking lot of 1100 Raleigh Boulevard on Saturday to buy items the person advertised online.

Police said the pair decided not to buy the property, and instead rob the seller.

The two people then drove off, and the seller chased them along Capital Boulevard. The seller then fired two shots at the man and woman, according to police.

The chase ended at the 3000 block of Capital Boulevard, where the pair ran for help.

Police said all three people were charged in the incident.

The man and woman were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The online seller was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
