HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Police on Wednesday identified the man suspected of firing shots into an occupied car on Tuesday.

Officers responded to South Churton Street near Cardinal Drive at about 5:30 p.m. and found a person with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

Photos from the scene showed several bullet holes in the driver's-side window.

Police were seeking Elijah Rashad Dobson, 24, in connection with the shooting, but no charges have been filed so far.

Police said a baby inside the vehicle wasn't hurt and was taken to her mother.
