<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A suspect is in custody after a fatal shooting on Landau Drive around 1:40 p.m. Friday, Fayetteville police said.

The name of the victim was withheld, pending notification of his next of kin. Police also withheld the name of the suspect.

Police said they would release more information about the shooting once the early stages of the investigation are complete.

And in North Carolina, a woman gave birth in a car after an emergency room couldn't offer an ultrasound. The baby later died.
