RALEIGH, N.C. — More turnover is on tap in the North Carolina House of Representatives.

Rep. Becky Carney, D-Mecklenberg, expects to return to work Tuesday after a two-month absence.

Carney collapsed in her office April 2 from a cardiac arrest. A Carney aide said the representative plans to be on the floor for the afternoon session Tuesday.

Rep. Bonner Stiller plans to leave the Legislature effective June 15. He submitted a letter of resignation Wednesday to House Speaker Joe Hackney. Stiller, R-Brunswick, said he needs more time with his family and his law practice.
