One person struck by vehicle in Raleigh
Raleigh police were investigating after a person was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were investigating after a person was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night.
The accident happened at the corner of New Bern Avenue and Sunnybrook Road. Police said the person, who was not identified, was transported to WakeMed Hospital before they arrived on the scene. There was no word on the extent of the person's injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved was still at the scene as police conducted their investigation.
