<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — One person was shot outside the Denny's on Wake Forest Road, across from Duke Raleigh Hospital at around 4 :30 a.m. Thursday.

Officials are looking into the possibility that the crime was a drive-by shooting. One window was shattered at the Denny's.

The person shot was taken by a private vehicle to WakeMed.

The condition of the person shot is not yet known at this time.
