One person shot, another injured by glass in Durham shooting

Durham police said two cars fired shots at each other just before 2 p.m. on N.C. 55, near Cecil Street.

DURHAM, N.C. — Two people, including an innocent bystander, were injured in a Durham shooting.

Durham police said two cars fired shots at each other just before 2 p.m. on N.C. Highway 55, near Cecil Street.

A woman in one of the cars suffered a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A driver of an uninvolved car was injured by flying glass from the incident.
