Authorities found one man dead after a house fire in Moore County on Christmas Eve.






<b>MOORE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Authorities found one man dead after a house fire in Moore County on Christmas Eve.

The man who died in the fire was identified by officials on Saturday as Johnny A. Reeder, 52, of 360 Mack Road.<br />

No further information has been released. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.

According to the Sampson County Sheriff's Office, a school resource officer discovered the body of a man inside a vehicle at Hobbton High School's athletic field. Authorities believe the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
