One person killed in Benson car crash
One person was killed in a car crash in Benson just before midnight on Saturday.

BENSON, N.C. — One person was killed in a car crash in Benson just before midnight on Saturday.
The crash happened near Tarheel Road in Johnston County. Troopers said a small passenger car left the roadway on the right and went airborne into a large pine tree. Officials say that speed was a factor in the crash.
Sunday afternoon, officials said the person who died was Jesus Arturo-Sanchez, 29, from Four Oaks.
