One person hurt after crash brings down power lines in Raleigh
One person was taken to a local hospital following a crash that brought down power lines in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — One person was taken to a local hospital following a crash that brought down power lines in Raleigh.
The crash happened Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of Edwards Mill Road.
Raleigh police said the person taken for treatment was the driver of the car. Police did not release the driver's condition.
A second person in the car was not injured in the crash, police said.
Progress Energy was called to the scene to repair the downed power lines.
