FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — One man was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a car crash in Fayetteville on Saturday night.

The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on Cliffdale Road.

A Chevrolet Impala went into oncoming traffic and hit a Cadillac SRX, and the Impala then burst into flames, police said.

The Impala's driver, who died at the scene, was initially identified as 22-year-old Damian Leonard Miller Jr., of Fayetteville. Police said Thursday that Miller was a fictitious name, and that the man was actually 33-year-old Terrance Coleman.

Police said they determined that Coleman had been living under the assumed name for many years.

Two people in the Cadillac, Trenton Young, 46, and Tracy Young, 56, were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Their conditions were unknown.

Cliffdale Road between Regency Drive and Bunce Road was closed as police investigated the crash.
