One killed in early-morning wreck in Garner
One person was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the ramp from U.S. Highway 70 to Interstate 40 in Garner, North Carolina State Highway Patrol officials said.

GARNER, N.C. — One person was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash on the ramp from U.S. Highway 70 to Interstate 40 in Garner, North Carolina State Highway Patrol officials said.
The wreck happened at about 8:30 a.m.
Troopers said one vehicle was stopped on the ramp when it was hit by a truck merging onto I-40. The person inside the car died.
Troopers said the person in the truck was not injured. It's unclear if any charges will be filed.
