One injured in Zebulon shooting

A shooting on West Gannon Avenue in Zebulon early Sunday injured one person, police said.

ZEBULON, N.C. — Zebulon police said one person was injured in a shooting at 636 W. Gannon Ave., across from the Burger King restaurant, around 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

The victim, whose name wasn't released, was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh, said Phyllis Stephens, spokeswoman for the Wake County Sheriff's Office.

No arrests have been made. The investigation was ongoing.
