One injured in shooting on Holloway Street in Durham

One person was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after a shooting on Holloway Street, Durham police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — One person was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after a shooting on Holloway Street, Durham police said. 

Officers responding to a call in the 500 block of Holloway Street at about 2:30 a.m. found a person who had been shot twice in the right leg. According to investigators, the person was sitting in a car when they were shot by someone who was in another car. 

The shooting victim's name and gender were not released, but police said their injuries were non-life threatening. 

No arrests have been made and Durham police said they have no suspects. Anyone with information should call the Durham Police Department.
