<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A wreck on North Carolina Highway 70 in Durham caused traffic back-ups near Cheek Road on Wednesday evening.

Durham police said a car was rear-ended by another vehicle when it stopped to avoid a highway assistance car on the side of the road.

One person sustained non life threatening injuries.

Westbound lanes of NC Highway 70 were closed for about an hour.
