One hospitalized in Durham home invasion

A person was taken to the hospital Sunday with serious but non-life threatening injuries following an apparent home invasion in Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. — A person was taken to the hospital Sunday with serious but non-life threatening injuries following an apparent home invasion in Durham.

Durham police responded to a reported home invasion around noon Sunday at 2612 Cammie St. According to police, the incident occurred about 10 a.m.

One occupant in the home was taken to the hospital, but the person's identity was not released. It is unclear if any weapons were used in the assault.

No arrests were immediately made.
